Who
Should Take ProBeta®?
We recommend that individuals who develop elevated blood glucose
levels during adulthood take ProBeta. Individuals at risk of developing
elevated blood glucose levels may take up to one half the normal
dose to decrease risk. Our studies show that individuals taking
ProBeta® typically experience improvement in blood glucose
control within 4 to 6 weeks of supplementation. Research has shown
that ProBeta® increases the ability of the pancreas to respond
to elevated glucose levels by promoting pancreatic health which
allows the pancreas to respond more effectively to increased blood
glucose levels. ProBeta® also acts to increase insulin receptor
sensitivity, which allows the bodies own insulin to act more effectively.
Studies have shown that many individuals who are overweight often
experience mild to moderate weight loss when taking ProBeta®.
How To Take ProBeta®
It is recommended that adults take two capsules three times daily
with food. Once one achieves the desired effect, the dosage may
be decreased to 1 capsule 2-3 times daily. We recommend that individuals
be monitored by a physician while using ProBeta®.

ProBeta®
- A natural step to improved blood-glucose levels.
|
ProBeta® is a dietary supplement that promotes
healthy blood glucose levels in individuals whose fasting glucose levels
are elevated. ProBeta® is a patented extract derived from the plant
Gymnema sylvestre and differs distinctly from other Gymnema products
on the market. ProBeta® is comprised only of that fraction of the
plant that has glucose lowering activity. This fraction is carefully
isolated from the rest of the plant in a process that makes ProBeta
unlike other Gymnema products currently available.
Natural
Approach
As
long as 2500 years ago Ayurvedic medicine, developed and practiced in
India, used leaves from the Gymnema sylvestre plant as a treatment for
the condition described as 'sweet urine'. More than twenty-five years
ago Drs Shanmugasundaram became interested in Gymnema and began conducting
research on it's therapeutic activity.
Their most widely copied extract called GS4 was found to prevent nutrient
uptake and cause anemia. Later they were able to remove the fractions
of the GS4 extract which prevent nutrient uptake. This new extract is
now patented and is called ProBeta. Clinical studies have shown no toxicity
or side effects from ProBeta.
Improve
Blood-Glucose Levels
Human clinical trials of ProBeta® have shown improved blood glucose
levels, decreased glycosolated hemoglobin typically measured as A1c,
mildly decreased blood cholesterol and increased levels of endogenous
antioxidant enzymes (SOD and Catalase) that act to protect against oxidative
damage.
