ProCor is a dietary supplement designed to help normalize blood lipid levels and promote cardiovascular health. ProCor is an herb-mineral preparation based upon a traditional Ayurvedic formula called Anna Paval. Anna Paval has been used for over 2000 years and was thought to restore health to the blood vessels and help rid the body of waste products.
 The Drs. Shanmugasundaram have studied the effect of Anna Paval on blood lipid levels, lipoprotein profiles, blood clotting components and antioxidant status in more than one thousand patients and have compared them with age and sex matched healthy controls.
Human Clinical trials have shown:
- Total cholesterol and triglycerides were lowered
- HDL cholesterol increased, coronary risk reduced
- Decrease in anginal symptoms and decrease in blood pressure
- Decrease fibrinogen and platelet blood counts, suggesting decreased coagulation
- Decreased oxidative damage as measured by lipid peroxidation
- Increase in protective antioxidant enzymes: superoxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione peroxidase
