ProBeta® is the world’s most powerful Gymnema-sylvestre based extract for blood sugar health and pancreatic function. Our line of Gymnema-sylvestre extracts also has most clinical research and testing behind it than any other Gymnema-based product in the world. Most Gymnema-sylvestre based products commercially available are based on our research, but ProBeta® is the only one that is made by us. It side-effect free and completely natural.

From the process of wild cultivation of the Gymnema plant, to its transformation into a refined extract, our entire process is proprietary and we control it. The plants we use are herbicide and pesticide free, and our extract is the most pure, highly concentrated and isolated Gymnema-based extract in our line, to date.

The ProBeta® Story

The vision for ProBeta® started forty years ago with GS1, GS2, GS3 and GS4 - our prototypes for ProBeta®. Our first extract of Gymnema Sylvestre was called GS1. It was developed in our laboratories, and showed us the true potential of the Gymnema-sylvestre plant in addressing pancreatic health. Results from GS1 pushed us to develop GS2, and further, GS3, each one a more purified, refined, and powerful version of its predecessor. GS4 was a massive breakthrough for us. It showed us that with more research and development, what we envisioned as a product was truly possible. It was a massive breakthrough for many. In fact, many health supplement companies around the world use our studies today to make GS4 in their own products. Although we are flattered that our research is carried in so many different products, GS4 was not the end for us. It was not our ideal product. The molecule in GS4 that is effective for pancreatic function is surrounded by a series of other molecules that bind to minerals and nutrients in the body. This is why we never intended it to be commercially available. A healthy body needs all the minerals and nutrients it can get, so we set out to further purify GS4 and isolate the effective molecule from the others.
This work took ten years to complete. After clinical tests, in November of 1999, we invented GSHAN and patented it. It is the GS4 molecule in its isolated and pure form. Although our scientific name for it is GSHAN, we called the product ProBeta®, because it delivers what is needed in the beta cells – those cells that secrete insulin.
