ProThora® is an Ayurvedic mineral-herbal supplement shown to decrease and prevent inflammation associated with environmental airborne irritants including allergens and toxins. It is believed that in part this significant increase is due to greater exposure to allergens and toxins, decreased immune strength, and impaired antioxidant status.When an irritant or toxin enters the body a number of reactions occur all leading to the formation of reactant oxygen species or what are commonly referred to as “free radicals”. These “free radicals” are toxic to cells, cause tissue damage and are associated with a large number of disease processes including heart disease, allergies, asthma and cancer.

Antioxidants are considered to be the body’s most effective defense against oxidative damage due to free radicals. These antioxidants are classified as to origin as being either exogenous (originating outside of the body) or endogenous (originating within the body) Those antioxidants acquired by diet or through dietary supplementation are known as “exogenous antioxidants”, and include certain foods and beverages, vitamins such as A, C & E and supplements such as beta carotene.

The body also produces its own antioxidants and these include superoxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione peroxidase.
These “endogenous antioxidants” show a much greater ability to capture or neutralize free radicals and are far more effective in preventing oxidative damage of cells and tissues than are the exogenous varities. In fact the effectiveness of exogenous antioxidants partially depends upon the availability of adequate levels of endogenous antioxidants.
The unique characteristic of ProThora® is that although it is a very effective “exogenous” antioxidant, clinical studies have shown that ProThora® also stimulates an increase in the level of endogenous antioxidants.
In addition ProThora® is nontoxic and free of any side effects.

Directions For Use

Take 2 capsules ProThora® 2x daily for best results. ProThora® can be taken with or without food. If stomach irritation develops it can be relieved by taking ProThora® with food.
